Hospitality Lane Asphalt Work Completed

Asphalt paving in the center-running lane area has been completed on Hospitality Lane between E Street and Waterman Avenue.

May has become a major milestone month for the project, as crews were able to complete center-running-lane asphalt work on Hospitality Lane between E Street and Waterman Avenue. This section of roadway was removed and reinforced as the new sbX coaches will travel along the middle portion of the street in dedicated bus lanes.

Other major milestones include the start of construction of the Hunts Lane and Carnegie Drive center-running lane sbX stations. Crews are well on their way with station foundation work and planter walls leading to the pedestrian walkways in the signalized intersection.

The sbX Structure Steel has already been installed and the concrete planter walls poured.

At the sbX station at Hospitality Lane and Tippecanoe Avenue, the steel canopy structure has been installed and planter walls built. Numerous electrical activities also are taking place throughout this stretch of roadway for intersection signalization and wiring of the stations.
