That’s one extra month of discounted rides to summer fun than in prior years.

The discounted fare is also available on smartphones using Token Transit mobile ticketing. To get started, download the free Token Transit app and go paperless. Pay using a debit or credit card then flash your activated pass on your smartphone to the driver when boarding.

Riders should be ready to show bus drivers proof of age or school ID card to confirm eligibility for discount, if asked. To plan your ride, use our online Trip Planner, type in your origin and destination, and you’re off to a summer adventure!

Summertime and the living’s easy…Omnitrans is excited about new service enhancements just in time for the best summer ever! All service changes are found in the new Bus Book, effective Monday, May 7 – Sunday, September 2, 2018.

Click here for a Bus Book preview.

Last year, Omnitrans introduced Freeway Express Route 208 connecting Downtown San Bernardino and Yucaipa with limited stops along the way at popular destinations and connection points. Additionally, the wildly popular Summer Youth Fare is back this June and July! Students 18 and younger who are off of school for the summer can get out and explore for only $1 each way with proof of age. That means that shopping trips to the mall, movie screenings, outings to the park, lunch and coffee with friends are only $1 this summer!

Guide to January 2018 Service Changes

New year, new service enhancements! Effective January 2, 2018, several Omnitrans bus routes will undergo run-time adjustments for improved efficiency and transfer connections. These changes, along with new transit partnerships, will make transportation more convenient for the San Bernardino Valley.

As of this week, Metrolink now serves the San Bernardino Transit Center, providing more transportation options and allowing quicker access for Omnitrans riders heading to Los Angeles and Orange County via passenger rail. Omnitrans riders are now able to connect to Metrolink at the SBTC, and hop on the San Bernardino Line to Downtown Los Angeles, or the Inland Empire-Orange County Line and head as far south as Oceanside.

Additionally, a new Riverside Transit Agency (RTA) route will begin to serve the San Bernardino Transit Center on January 14, 2018. The route, Commuter Link Express Route 200, connects passengers from Downtown San Bernardino to Riverside and Anaheim with limited stops along the way. Popular destinations on this route include: the Riverside Galleria, Disneyland Resort, Anaheim Convention Center, and the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center.
