Omnitrans team joins ARMC’s Pink Glove Dance!

Buster the Bus and the Omnitrans team were proud to support Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) in the fight against breast cancer by participating in recent filming of the ARMC Pink Glove Dance.

The video was submitted as part of a competition designed to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer education, support and research. The competition is organized by Medline Industries, Inc., the creators of the famous YouTube sensation Pink Glove Dance and makers of the pink gloves.

Viewers are encouraged to visit www.pinkglovedance.com to vote for their favorite  video and help pick a winner! Voting closes November 8th. Winners will be announced November 15th. Prizes are awarded as donations to breast cancer charities in the name of the winners.

The funds raised by ARMC will go to support Susan G. Komen, Inland Empire, a foundation dedicated to saving lives and ending breast cancer forever by ensuring quality care for everyone and energizing science to find the cure. So far this year, ARMC has raised $2,000 for the foundation and hopes its video will  raise even more money for the cause.

The Pink Glove Dance

Rocking out is never more fun than when you’re doing it for a great cause! This month, staff members at Arrowview Regional Medical Center  (ARMC) donned their pink gloves and hopped on board Omnitrans for the filming of their third Pink Dance video.

The video is being submitted as part of a competition designed to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer education, support and research. The competition is organized by Medline Industries, Inc., the creators of the famous YouTube sensation Pink Glove Dance and makers of the pink gloves.

Omnitrans outreach specialist Nicole Ramos and operations trainer Charles Molloy show their support for the ARMC Pink Glove Dance

“Our admin are very supportive of this competition as it raises awareness for breast cancer screening and treatment,” said Staci McClane, Ethics and Compliance Coordinator for ARMC. “This year we’re excited to include Omnitrans, Arrowhead Credit Union and Susan G. Komen, Inland Empire as partners in the project.  Our theme is ARMC answers the call to support breast cancer awareness.”

The funds raised by ARMC will go to support Susan G. Komen, Inland Empire, a foundation dedicated to saving lives and ending breast cancer forever by ensuring quality care for everyone and energizing science to find the cure.

“We’re very pleased to be able to support such an important cause,” said Omnitrans outreach specialist Nicole Ramos. “One in every eight women in the U.S. will develop breast cancer during her lifetime. Organizations like ARMC and Susan G Komen, Inland Empire, help provide breast cancer treatment, education and support to those within our own local community.”

Beginning in October, viewers will be able to go online and vote for their favorite Pink Glove Dance video submission at http://www.pinkglovedance.com.
