Omnitrans Invites Public to Comment on Proposed Service Changes
Public Hearings to be Held July 16 and 17

Omnitrans invites community members to attend public hearings next week to provide input on service changes proposed for September 2007.

The proposed service changes primarily impact the western side of Omnitrans’ service area, from Rancho Cucamonga to Montclair and Chino. Specifically, changes are proposed to Routes 5, 8, 60, 62, 67, 70, and 71. Since only minor changes are proposed to eastern area routes, the hearings will be held in West Valley cities.

Monday, July 16

10:00 a.m. - noon

5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
City of Chino Community Building, 5443 “B” Street, Rm. 6, Chino
Take Routes 62, 63, 65, 68

Tuesday, July 17

Fontana Police Department, 17005 Upland Ave., Fontana
Take Routes 14, 66, 67

Following the hearings, Omnitrans will finalize the service change plan.

Founded in 1976, Omnitrans is the public transit agency serving fifteen cities and the unincorporated areas of the Inland Valley of San Bernardino County in Southern California. Omnitrans currently operates 32 fixed bus routes in a
480-square-mile area. Omnitrans also provides OmniLink and Access
