Omnitrans to Dedicate Plaque in Memory of Coach OperatorWHO: The family and friends of late Omnitrans Coach Operator Lawrence Kester, Omnitrans staff, Board members, and customers WHAT: Omnitrans and community members will commemorate the life of late Coach Operator Kester with the dedication of a memorial plaque in his hometown of Fontana. Kester, a valued 15-year veteran of the transit agency, was tragically killed on duty on May 7. He was a member of Omnitrans' elite "Million Mile Club," and earned more than a dozen commendations for safety and service.
